Mr. I. Krishna Pillai, Founder and Chairman of Cape Group of Institutions is the main Promoter and Managing Director of Cape Infrastructure. A civil engineer with over 20 years of rich entrepreneurial experience in the wind energy and Infrastructure sector, Mr. Pillai felt the need to make quality education affordable to the larger masses which led to him establishing the Sri Vinayaga Educational Trust which runs both Cape Institute of Technology and Cape Polytechnic.

Correspondent, Prof.M. Subramania Pillai, B.E, MSC(Engg) is an architect of CIT and strives hard to make the dream come true. He Obtained the Bachelor and Master degree in Civil Engineering in 1964 and 1966 from the University of Madras. He served as Lecturer and Professor in Civil Engineering Department in A.C.College of Engineering, Karaikudi, College of Engineering, Guindy and Govt College of engineering Thirunelveli.
