CHAIRMAN’S CAREER

1. I . Krishna Pillai is  an  icon of Renewable Energy who has made the Wind power and Solar power industry a promising industry – the future Energy source . The vision he dreamt and the burning passion of becoming an Entrepreneur made him achieve in the Field of Renewable Energy. The Wind Mills of God was favorable to make a good fortune in a right time where renewable energy production was in grass root level.

CAPE GROUP was founded in 1990 as proprietary firm has proven track record of nurturing ventures to success & creating wealth for all stakeholders. CAPE has a pan India presence Education, Wind, Solar, Biomass, Small Hydro & Storage.

Cape has opened up sources in various  dimensions – Education, Infrastructure , Wind Turbine Manufacturing , Real Estate and Other Business.

A Big dream is achieved by chains of little Dreams clutched in series’. In 1989 he started the NANGAI BENEFIT FUND. The IKP Construction is the bench mark of his career in 1990. He was the Chairman of AUROMIRA IN 2005.. He started CAPE INFRA STRUCTURE   PVT  LTD   in 2006 and  Cape Energy in 2006. In the year 2007 he started Cape Township and Cape Consultancy and Cape Granites in 2007.   They can be categorized under CAPE INFRA STRUCTURES PVT LTD.  GARUDA VAYUSAKTHI IN 2008 is on Wind Turbine  Manufacturing . Cape Township Madurai Pvt Ltd under Real Estate and Nangai Benefit Fund in other Business.

The Capacity of Wind farms – 5000 MW in    Tirunelveli & Kanyakumari   Districts and the types of WTG (Wind Turbine varies from to 200-2300 MW.The graph of his reputation has grown up in multi dimensions that he has emerged a successful Entrepreneur in Green Technology.  The 20 years of rich entrepreneurial experience in the wind energy and Infrastructure sector has made him emerge a successful person in the field  

.  The Entrepreneur in him made him focus in the Wind power production and he has worked with the production of 6000 Megawatts of Wind energy projects in Tamil Nadu Andra Pradesh, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.  He has more than 23 yrs. of field experience and he has been appreciated and applauded as the country’s most productive renewable energy promoter. He has been quoted in India’s most popular magazine “The Week’ which is a prestigious recognition.   At the outset 5000MW of power has been installed capacity since 1990.

    Solar Energy is the next promising energy which is a growing Industry. Research Projects are going to make this energy consumable and cost efficient .  To meet the demands of another source of Alertnative Energy CAPE GROUP has focused on this source and  it has developed 300 MW of solar Projects in India and Huge solar Energy Land Bank of more than 10000 acres of Land.

The ultimate aim of education is to impart it to the worthy and the needy .  Mr. Pillai felt the need to make quality education affordable to the larger masses of the society .Cape Institute of Technology is the brainchild of our Chairman where he insisted ‘VIDYA DHAANAM- an opportunity for the talented young minds who are from rural and rustic areas.  He also started Cape Polytechnic in2007 and New Cape in 2008. The Institution has extended hands with the society to focus on Quality Education . It has its own brand and it stands an Institution with a difference  This led to him establish the Sri Vinayaga Educational Trust.

Born in a family for a simple and humble couple at  Punnar kulam  Er. I Krishna Pillai has brought laurels for his family and his parents as a studious student  right from his schooling.  He completed his Diploma in Civil engineering at Government Polytechnic, Nagercoil in the year —  . He started his career as a Lecturer  in KNSK Polytechnic , Chenbagaramanputhur from the inception of the Polytechnic. His vision in him did not let him sleep to be satisfied with a career confined within four walls of a classroom..   The Entrepreneur in him made him a successful business man. He found fortune in Wind Energy.
