Program Educational Objectives (PEO’s)

PEO 1: To impart exhaustive knowledge to the students in all the sub-domains of Information Technology and the fast evolving IT tools to:
o Take up key assignments in IT and associated industries.
o Undertake and excel in higher studies and Research & Development in IT related fields and Management.

PEO 2: To impart solid foundation in Computational Intelligence, Science and Interdisciplinary courses.

PEO 3: To design & develop novel products and innovative solutions for real life problems in Information Technology field and related domains.

PEO 4: To inculcate a conviction in the students to believe in self, impart professional and ethical attitude, nurture to be an effective team member, infuse leadership qualities, build proficiency in soft-skills, and the ability to relate Engineering with social issues.

PEO 5: To provide a conducive and disciplined Academic environment, quality of teaching with innovative & modern methods of pedagogy establishing the relevance of technical education as per the needs of the industry and society at large.

Program Objectives (PO)

Engineering Graduates will be able to

1. Apply Engineering knowledge to solve problems in different areas of Information Technology.
2. Identify, hypothesize and construct software Requirement Specification using various concepts and techniques in the field of IT.
3. Design and develop solutions for complex systems to meet the needs of society and IT industry.
4. Ability to conduct research in diversified field of Mobile Communication, Web technology, Data Mining, Cryptography, Network Security etc to obtain valid
   conclusions for challenging problems.
5. Develop programming skills to use sophisticated and advanced software tools of IT.
6. Develop ability to perform best engineering and technical practices that benefit the corporate society and industry.
7. Develop projects using software tools for satisfying the needs of end users.
8. Learn and follow the ethical principles involved in IT research and industrial practices.
9. Ability to work as an individual based on interest and also in multidisciplinary team of Information Technology.
10. Develop effective communication and technical writing in IT research and industrial practices.
11. Develop management skills to work in IT industry and also to become an entrepreneur in the field of Information Technology.
12. Engage in lifelong learning process by updating the knowledge of individual with the upcoming software tools and techniques.

Demonstrate an ability of analyzing the common business functions to design and develop appropriate Information Technology solutions.

Ability to organize an IT Infrastructure, manage and monitor resources and safeguard data.

B.Tech Information Technology

Campus Management System Software (CITCMS)

We have developed a Campus Management System (CITCMS) which is running successfully and used by all the departments’ staff members inside the college. We use it for Internal Examination mark entry, Placement Management, Transport Management (Generation of bus and vehicle pass), Attendance Management, and various other features for NBA Accreditation.

We are also conducting various online examinations for school students and faculty recruitment process through CITCMS.

Zenith Innovative Technical Association (ZINTA) is the backbone of the department which aims at student personality development and placement. The association organizes placement training activities which include aptitude and resume preparation, group discussion, mock interview and lot of student contests. In 2004, FACET (Forcible Association of Crank and Ebulant Technocrats), the inaugural function of our technical association was headed by the Chief Guest Sri. V. Raju, ITS, General Manager Telecom.
